As part of the bridal shower party, we have organized a make-up class among 8 of us with Fionna.
Fionna has been a very cheerful and patient instructor. With 8 different faces and styles, she managed to provide quick and easy-to-apply method to highlight the best of part of our faces.
Many of us bought lots of make-up products but have not taken any make-up class before, it was eye-opening to us to know how to do an every-day make-up in less than 10 minutes. Fionna also gave us a simple tips to retouch the eyes so that we can be ready for a dinner party afterwards. We indeed had a great time, it was both educational and fun afternoon for us.

Dealing with Fionna has been nothing but efficient from asking for quote to confirming the appointment to the make up. She is punctual, friendly, courteous and accommodating. She will listens to all your suggestions and concerns and come out with something that is what you needed without being pushy. I am very lucky to have found her. My makeup was thick but that also made it last whole day. It looked very natural and yet looked great in pictures. "I live in New York and had to do all our wedding planning from whatever information we could gather from the internet. What I liked most about Fionna's portfolio is that she does lots of editorial and commercial work and not just weddings. Her website shows photos with a lot more edge than all the other makeup artists I found on the wedding classifieds. My bridal party and I didn't want to look like overdone mannequins and we asked for a lot more fun and flirt, and Fionna did magic with each and every one of us! "I used Fionna Lau for a makeup session and personal class on makeup application. She was prompt and arrived with many supplies. She was very friendly and patient with me. We actually had fun during the session, talking and learning. She is very detailed in her work. Fionna is a good teacher and has an easy method for getting you to remember how to apply your own makeup.
She did an outstanding, high quality makeover on me and provided me with several options for daytime/nighttime makeup. She is very, very good at color matching and application. At the end of the session, Fionna offered her makeup (she formulates her own) and supplies – they were offered without pushing and at a very reasonable price considering the high quality.
I was very happy with Fionna's services and products and I would definitely use her again.

"Fionna was just great with my makeup and hair on my ROM day. Though I had given her a guide of the makeup and hair styles I was comfortable with, I had nothing to worry about as she worked to play up my stronger features. The base makeup was done very well, hiding my flaws without making my face look caked in makeup. My eyes are my best feature and Fionna made them up to look intense ad pretty without being too overpowering. She also worked with the natural curls in my hair and enhanced them. Fionna was extremely helpful when I was getting ready by helping with my accessories, dress and such. She even went the extra mile to fix my mother's hair at my request.
