Please touch up! It’s uncomfortable to see remnants of lipliner after a meal. No lipstick is forgivable. But an outline without color looks cartoonish. Just grab your lipstick from your handbag and do a quick swipe over the lip! You really don't need a mirror. You know where your lips are. A firm swipe and smack your lips together.
Let's jump to the beginning. How to outline your lips. Using a lip liner, dot the two peaks of your top lip first. Draw the 'V' shape down the center. Dot the corners of your mouth, opened. Connect the dots from the 'V' shape to the corners of your mouth by drawing along the lipline. It helps to smile as it stretches the skin taut and makes drawing easier. If it looks too pointy, draw an 'M' shape instead by going over the peaks. For the bottom lip, start at the center and draw a short line, and connect to the corners. It could be easier to connect with another extra dot in between the center part and the corners of your mouth. Better to use a lip liner with a soft and creamy formula that draws easy and smoothly. Make sure the tip is sharpened first for precision application. No smooth feel? Color doesn't come out easy when drawing? Trash that lipliner and go buy a better one! Hard to draw lip liners will cause your lips to go wrinkly. Dragging the skin will stretch the skin and become wrinkled in time. Eventually the lips will look crumply and folded. Granny lips.. No good to look at and even harder to draw. Invest in a good lip moisturiser or balm too, to keep your lips plump and supple.
