Chinese New Year is a great time to unleash your prowess power of your oriental makeup skills. Since red is an auspicious colour which symbolizes luck, happiness and prosperity. I say, what better time than to wear this color boldly to welcome the new year!
For Eyes - Couple red eyeshadow with a thin sleek flick of the black eyeliner (gel or liquid). The alluring cat eyes look; so very appropriate for this Tiger year too!
Cheeks - Dare you to rub red stain on your cheeks. Make sure you blend the edges! Use an iridescent face base, blond the eyebrows and go heavy on the glitter lipgloss. So Haute!
Lips - And of course, the all popular red hot lips. Use a lip liner first to guide the colour within the area of application so it will not feather or bleed due to prolong wearing. You want to look classy, not cannibalistic.
